I finally got my new lens on the camera to play with it (it came Monday!)

This one was not taken with the new lens...its from last Friday at 930am. The sunlight was already so harsh out, but I love the blue and yellow together!

I absolutely LOVE how bright and cheerful sunflowers are, they are such day brighteners!

Sunflower Series

One of my most favorite flowers is the enormous sunflower, so I planted them in my garden, and they are FINALLY starting to come out...

Fair & Entry Results

Just thought I would share a couple shots from our family adventures at the fair! From riding the ponies, driving tractors and watching the huge Budweiser Clydesdales, it was a good time. Another year gone by. This was our 4th fair together...and memorable for sure.

Photo entry results....Out of the 9 entries, I received 7, yes 7, awards!!!
In order of apperance, 2nd, nadda, 2nd, nadda, 2nd, 1st, 3rd, 3rd, 3rd. Super estatic for those results, especially since I entered the open category not amature.

....Now to start collecting photos for next year....

2008 Fair Entries

Just thought I'd share the entries I'm submitting to the county fair next week
